Portland trip

Week before last, Jess and I drove to Portland to visit with his family for a few days. Wednesday night, we camped the near Meacham OR. That was my first experience cold camping. It was about 42 when we pulled up, and it was 28-ish degrees at night. While it was fun, and we are glad we did it, we think we will opt for getting a cabin at that place if we go through that area this time of year again.
While there, we were able to hike Multnomah, do the air tram, pick up some awesome camping stuff, eat gluten free pizza, and have some amazing gluten free cupcakes from an 100% gluten free bakery (the staff isn't even allowed to bring in anything gluten-ized if they bring in a lunch to eat on their break). We also got to spend time with family, bring home Christmas presents for the Utah families.
