Date night, or the evening we were reminded how nerdy we are

I love cheap date night. We had free movie tickets, so we saw the Amazing Spiderman. We had a couple of gift cards to a restaurant, so we feasted well for dinner. Afterwards, we strolled over to  shopko. While admiring the Legos and superhero toys, we came up upon a few toys that made us squeal with joy.
Ninja Turtles! We sort of knew we couldn't leave without them. Jess got Leonardo, and I picked up Donatello.
Then, we came home, where we picked up the house a tad, and then watched another Harry Potter movie (we have been watching one a week since Harry's birthday a few weeks ago).

At that moment, as we were sitting down the movie after dinner, it sort of hit us.
*We went to a movie based on a comic book.
*While at dinner we quoted and discussed Harry Potter. Then, we talked about the reason Batman and Spiderman have secret identities, where as Iron Man does not,  Heroes and Doctor Who, and lastly, the genius of Joss Whedon and Stan Lee.
* We went to the store to look at Legos and toys from super hero's movies.
*While at the store, we found TMNT toys, and couldn't wait to get them home to play with them.
*We came home, and watched Harry Potter.
We have a geek flag, that's for certain.
