Update and getting excited for the Holidays!

On Saturday, we went up to the cabin (the trees were beautiful!), went on a bike ride in Park City, had a good time at the outlet mall (Jess finally got a good winter coat for the cabin), and had a hilarious time hanging out with Robert in the evening. Yesterday, I walked to and from work (the weather was too perfect not to, and it only took half an hour), watched the new show Once Upon a Time (yay for Jennifer Morrison!) and had a fun time at Costco. In other good news, we should have almost all of our Christmas shopping done by the end of this week (except for some stocking stuffers and some holiday food/treats). I'm so excited!
Also, we were at Target a few weeks ago, and found this. We were so excited! That is definitely awesome.

While we're on the topic, what are some Holiday (Thanksgiving and Christmas) traditions you guys have? We're still trying to figure out how we want to do these things, and we're looking for new/fun ideas.

The Barrett family go out to the movies on Christmas eve. Afterwards, we have sparkling cider and just eat appetizers all night for our dinner...7 layer bean dip is the traditional appetizer. Then we play board games till we're exhausted and go to sleep. Christmas day, we either go to grandma's or they come over and we have a big Christmas dinner. As a married couple/ family, Kevin and I have made it a new tradition that we collect Christmas Ornaments as souvineers of places we have visit...Yellowstone, New York, DC, etc. Someday when we have children, we will have our kids choose an ornament together when we go on vacation...then when we hang our ornaments up, we can reflect on the memories we had spending time together as a family. :)
